I just got a new pair of jeans – after having worn 7 for all mankind’s flare style for years. I have the hardest time finding jeans I love, given my natural tendency to carry weight in my middle, but I have no hips or heiny. Then there’s the fact that I am vehemently against trendy denim (no sparkles, whiskering or shredding please!)
Anyhow, our personal trainer (Hi Erica! I know you’re reading this!) got a new pair of jeans a while back and let me try hers on. Since I never have any luck in the denim department, I wasn’t expecting much – boy was I surprised! 7 for all mankind’s ‘Ginger-Mercier wash’ have got to be the most fabulous pair of jeans I’ve ever put on. They are dark, extra long, trouser-ish & have a mid rise – not too low and not too high, but they seem to tuck it all in. They are truly an elegant pair of jeans, I think they will look great with a pair of platform pumps, a cashmere sweater and a simple pair of diamond studs. A classic bit of denim is both a comfortable & fashionable way to travel… the gate agent isn’t going to want to bump someone up to 1st class who looks inappropriate! (Always keep that tidbit in mind when you’re getting dressed for a flight).

cool pair of jeans. i think it is flattering for the figure and stylish at the same time because of the cut. i totally hate the low rise it didn't do anything good to my loose baby belly.

are you allowed to travel in business or first class when you are in jeans? in our company we and our dependens are not allowed to wear inappropriate clothes like:
-jeans
-leggings
-shorts
-track suit
-revealing clothes
-trainers/rubber shoes
-thong sandals
-flip flops
in addition to that we are requested not to accept the overnight amenity kits in business and first class. we are asked to decline if offered. what a total bummer!
I was so late wearing sevens, it seemed everyone had them, I should wear something else... then last Nordie's anniversary sale (a great time to by jeans!) I bought some and got totally hooked. They're flattering and feel good (unlike my Rock & Republic's that are awesome looking but torture me). I'll def keep an eye out for these! thanks, Hope
